This Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt “Advanced Practitioner Level” training course develops participants into expert problem solvers – giving them the hard skills needed to lead successful improvement teams and achieve business objectives in any function or department of any organisation.

The learning outcomes cover principles that apply to everyone in an organization requiring a clear, practical understanding of Continuous Improvement best practices as a sound basis for identifying and correcting problems. It also provides skills for mapping processes and collecting data, important groundwork for continuous improvement projects to be effective.

This learning program builds upon your Green Belt knowledge to cover a greater level of analytical, project implementation and change leadership skills drawing on both quantitative qualitative methods and the full range of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques required to facilitate and lead change.

Learning outcomes

Apply the DMAIC methodology to business issues and transition continuous improvement projects from phrase to phrase, removing barriers to achieve project success.

Apply basic Descriptive Statistics and more advanced data analyses such as Inferential and Correlational Statistics to determine the relationship between key inputs and process outputs.

Develop Change Management and Implementation skills to take on greater responsibility to pinpoint and manage performance shortfalls in your organisation.

Coach and explain Lean and Six Sigma concepts to Green Belt's and other team members and advise management on prioritising, planning and launching improvement projects.

Solve a business problem by running a project which enables you to certify as a Black Belt.

    Certification: Achieve 70% pass mark in the Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt final exam held on the last day of the course.
    Successfully complete a group project case study assignment (provided) during the 5 days of training which will assess your practical understanding of the tools and techniques learned and the ability to understand the big picture and manage the needs of different stakeholders
    Pre-requisites: Green Belt Certificate either via Kaizen Kulture or another bonafide training provider (formal evidence required).
