Attendees learn the practical application and understanding of industry best practice tools and techniques which provide a solid foundation for identifying, correcting and eliminating problems. The course follows a roadmap in discrete stages of Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control (DMAIC). Each stage includes a PHASE review to ensure the correct activities have taken place before advancement to the next PHASE. Participants learn to collect and analyse process data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint the root causes of those problems and develop and select new ways to improve processes. They also obtain skills in leading teams through the process of change.
